CHASING JACKALOPES. CHASING DREAMS.

Have you ever been haunted by a big idea?

I have been chased by the idea of building a small art gallery. A place where someone would conveniently stumble upon and ask, “Why does this exist here?” Upon further investigation, one would quickly realize, “How doesn’t this place exist.”

The goal is simple: bring people joy.

I constructed a small, 400-square-foot timber frame building in 2017. My goal is to go smaller with the gallery. Imagine the challenge of creating an ah-ha moment in a space of less than 100 square feet…

I had a moment of clarity when attending an art workshop in Santa Fe in September. The vision morphed into something bigger, something more substantial. It went from an idea to a plan that has to exist.

I want to create a place to encourage others to not only dream bigger but to encourage them to put those dreams in motion. A place that extends beyond its physical home. I want to encourage a community of like-minded individuals to set their dreams in motion wherever they live.

Jackalope Park was officially born.
